About this Jewelry
The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ's last day. Specific prayers are recited, then the individual moves to the next station until all 14 are complete.
On this medallion, the 14 stations are nano engraved around the head of Christ. There is a 14 point star that floats made from millions of diffractive elements symbolizing the birth of Christ representing the cradle to grave of the Messiah. On each of the photos of the Stations where Christ had stopped, there is a GPS coordinate that you can type into Google maps and see what that historic location looks like today.
The Pendant is made of hand machined 304 Stainless Steel and not casted and therefore much more durable and will last the test of time.
